About The Role

Play a vital role in perfecting our projects. As a Deficiency Labourer, you will be responsible for meticulously inspecting completed work, addressing any issues or defects, and ensuring that our projects achieve excellence.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Examining completed construction projects to identify any defects, errors, or issues that need to be addressed.;
  • Carry out necessary repairs, adjustments, or replacements to fix the identified deficiencies involving patching walls, fixing uneven surfaces, replacing faulty fixtures, or touching up paint;
  • Collaborating with other members of the construction team, such as contractors, subcontractors, and supervisors, to ensure that deficiencies are properly understood and resolved;
  • Ensuring that the final product meets the specified quality standards by identifying and rectifying any issues that might affect the overall quality and integrity of the project.

What You Bring

The ideal candidate for the Deficiency Technician role will be a detailed-oriented construction labourer that is able to work collaboratively within our construction team, showcasing problem-solving skills and adaptability.

 

Skills and Experience

  • Experience is an asset in: floor repairs, countertop and refinishing bathtub repairs, damage prevention, quality control and carpentry; 
  • Previous experience with Procore Deficiency Program is an asset;
  • A good understanding of construction sites and general knowledge of the industry;
  • Ability to work with hand and power carpentry tools and other construction equipment;
  • Strong communication skills including the ability to communicate with supervisors and trade partners.
