About The Role

As Axiom Builders’ approach the end of the first phase of our 3-year HR technology roadmap, we are looking to bring on a Senior HR Systems Analyst to expedite and expand our capacity for phase two.

Reporting to the Director of Human Resources for the duration of the contract, the ideal candidate will directly lead the implementation of new modules, and identify and make recommendations for further system enhancements, adding immense value to our HR systems platform, Dayforce.

As the HR team expands its scope within the organization, the Senior HR Systems Analyst will play an important role in driving scalable and efficient process improvements and best practices, allowing us to better serve our HR customer base of 800+ salaried and hourly employees with the support of the Technology, Finance and subject matter experts in the organization.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Execute on the defined HR Technology Roadmap by researching, configuring, and testing new Dayforce modules and other HR systems, while keeping the user experience top of mind;
  • Provide comprehensive post-implementation support for Dayforce Workforce Management;
  • Manage the ongoing maintenance of existing modules, including assessing system releases and promptly addressing system issues, errors, and updates;
  • Deliver insightful system-based analytics to HR, producing metrics and reports from HR data;
  • Coordinate and configure integrations between Dayforce and other business applications and platforms;
  • Elevate system functionality to ensure a seamless and user-friendly employee experience;
  • Administer and uphold security roles and access controls;
  • Provide HR Systems Analyst with technical support and general guidance as requested.

NOTE: At this is an 18-month contract with an anticipated end date of mid-2026, depending on start date. As a team, we will have regular discussions about contract completion or extensions beginning at the 12-month mark.

What You Bring

The successful Senior HR Systems Analyst candidate is a perfect balance between people-oriented and technology-minded.

People would describe you as analytical, detail oriented, and adaptable – ready to move mountains and think on your feet at any time. You are inquisitive and curious, not afraid to ask questions to challenge the status quo with the goal of identifying efficiencies, promoting automation and technology, at all times.

The HR Systems Optimization project is currently one of the most exciting projects in the HR team, and everyone wants the team’s time to improve, so naturally you are someone that is excellent at time management and prioritization.

Last but not least, this role requires extensive collaboration with our construction leaders, construction technology team, and finance/payroll team. You are gifted at building relationships and eager to bring diverse opinions together to solve a problem..  

Skills and Experience 

  • 5+ years of practical and direct experience with HRIS system configuration and support;
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the HR function, payroll process and related cyclical events;
  • Strong analytical skills pertaining to data, business processes, and system functionality;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to simplify technical information depending on audience;
  • Advanced Excel skills: specifically Pivot Tables and V-Lookups;
  • Previous Dayforce, SQL and Power BI experience/skill will be considered major assets;
  • Working knowledge of change management fundamentals.

The base salary range for this role may be $90,000 to $105,000 depending on experience, plus a competitive performance-based bonus program. During the interview process, let’s talk to get the right fit for your experience level.
