To continue to deliver project excellence to our clients, we will be bringing an Estimator (II) on board. Reporting to the Director, Estimating, the successful candidate will:

  • Analyze and assess bids and identify scope inclusions and exclusions from sub-trades;
  • Manage tender and budget package process;
  • Assess the impact of change orders on project costs, provide timely estimates, and negotiate pricing on an ongoing basis;
  • Conduct cost analysis by comparing estimated costs against actual costs incurred during previous projects to identify opportunities for cost optimization to reduce project expenses without compromising quality;
  • Stay up to date on industry trends, construction materials, pricing fluctuations, and regulatory changes that may impact project costs;
  • Collaborate with internal project and virtual construction teams to ensure clear and accurate communication of project requirements, cost estimates, and progress updates;
  • Maintain and develop strong relationships with sub-trades to obtain accurate pricing information and to ensure competitive pricing and availability of resources;
  • Support estimating leadership with integrating and training interns, practicum students and new hires as required.
