About the Role

Axiom Builders is looking to grow their marketing and communication team by adding a Marketing Coordinator to execute and support a variety of corporate and project-related initiatives. The role of the Marketing Department is to facilitate brand management and awareness, both internally and externally, communicate our story, and support other internal departments as we continue to grow. Reporting directly to the Marketing and Communications Manager, key responsibilities will include:


  • Create and execute content for social media, communications, email marketing, and newsletters;
  • Prepare communication schedules, content marketing deliverables, presentations, brochures, and reports;
  • Assist in the development of the marketing collateral, in support of the project teams;
  • Assist with the design and coordination of corporate advertisements and site signage;
  • Coordinate event branding and external client and association events, as required;
  • Travel to local construction sites for meetings, photo/video shoots, etc.;
  • Participate in brainstorms, ideation sessions, and construction brand management;
  • Manage digital assets and marketing administration;
  • Support corporate marketing initiatives and the Executive team as required.

Our Must Haves:

  • Post-secondary education in a discipline relevant to marketing, communications, or business;
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Lightroom) and MS Office programs (PowerPoint sample will be requested as part of the interview process);
  • Excellent interpersonal communication (written/verbal) skills with exceptional writing skills (writing sample will be requested as part of the interview process);
  • Familiarity with an email marketing platform such as Active Campaign, or a similar communication tool;
  • Strong understanding of social media and digital awareness;
  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License and willingness to travel locally for work;
  • Comfortable coordinating marketing projects on a jobsite;
  • Minimum one (1) year of experience in marketing, communications, or graphic design is preferred;
  • Experience with WordPress, photography / using a DSLR will be considered an asset.
