About the Role

Axiom Builders is excited to add a Human Resources Coordinator to our larger administration and human resources team. As our organization continues to grow, our internal team is looking at an opportunity to further enhance our Human Resources practices with the addition of an efficient implementation of a human capital management (HCM) system.


Reporting to the Director of Administration and working closely with our talent acquisition and learning and development departments, the successful Human Resources Coordinator will support the organization in the maintenance and standardization of data, workflows and content that will integrate with the HCM platform. Key responsibilities include:


  • Act as the organization’s liaison between I.T. and human resources to assist with basic troubleshooting or escalating system issues to the information technology team when appropriate;
  • Control, update and maintain complex human resources data, documents, reports and policies;
  • Implement and deliver ongoing HCM user training to new and existing leaders across the organization;
  • Work with Talent Acquisition, Onboarding, Division Managers, Learning & Development and Marketing to assist in the launch and upload of content for the HCM systems.

This is a unique role for someone to work with the HR Administration, working alongside the Digital HCM implementation process consolidating documents, reports, and policies to a new digital environment. Your expertise in utilizing technology is your competitive advantage and you are excited at the opportunity to leverage that strength. You can thrive autonomously in a fast-paced deadline driven environment, but also work with a collaborative team. As the position continues to progress, you will have the opportunity to be exposed to other HR related projects post HCM implementation.  


Our Must Haves

  • Degree, diploma, or certificate in Human Resource, Business Administration, or a related field;
  • At least three (3) years of experience working in a large complex multi-entity corporation;
  • Comfortable in using and navigating HRIS and HCM systems;
  • Ability to work with data and build reports;
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of discretion and confidentiality;
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize between various departments / division including corporate, recruitment, talent, and HR.
  • Strong understanding of the Construction Industry will be considered an asset.
