About the Role

Axiom Builders is looking to add a Site Administrator to act as the first point of contact and source of information for employees and visitors to one of Axiom’s largest master planned projects to date. The role will support the team in working with clients and subcontractors to gather information, pricing, compliance, and contract documents.

 

Reporting directly to the Project Manager, the Site Administrator will work with the rest of the project team to assist in their efforts to lead, build, and manage the team of employees and subcontractors involved in the entire construction process. Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the site trailer reception area and receive guests and trades in a professional manner;
  • Support the project team with office administration duties, such as ensuring office supplies are adequate and coordinating project payables, receivables, and billings with our accounting department;
  • Create a friendly, courteous atmosphere amongst the workplace, staff, clients, vendors, and stakeholders;
  • Set up and maintain accurate and standardized project files and records;
  • Prepare and distribute project correspondence and meeting minutes to all internal and external stakeholders;
  • Assist the project team with tasks related to construction, calendar and meeting management, event planning and other administrative duties as required;
  • Work closely with the corporate administrative team to help implement new protocols and procedures, assist planning company events, and put together warranty and maintenance manuals.

Our Must Haves

  • At least 1-2 years of experience working in an administrative capacity;
  • Willing to work on a construction site and excited to be a part of the action;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication (written/verbal) skills with the ability to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines;
  • Previous experience or interest in construction will be considered an asset;
  • Degree, diploma, or certificate in business, commerce, or a related field will be considered an asset.
