About the Role

Axiom Builders is looking for an Executive Assistant to the CEO and COO to join the team at our Head Office in Vancouver. This unique and rewarding opportunity allows the successful candidate to gain insight, knowledge, and exposure about the world of construction through the lens of leaders in the industry. This position is perfect for a well-rounded, organized, business professional to take on a more entrepreneurial, growth-oriented role by supporting our executives in identifying new clients, making connections, and becoming an initial face of the organization to the industry partners. The focus of this position over the next 3-5 years will be focused on supporting our executive team to make strategic decisions that lead to company growth. 

On the administrative end, responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Advance the CEO and COO's business plans, projects and strategies to continuously scale the organization;
  • Engage and interact with all external partners and clients on behalf of the CEO and COO when required;
  • Coordinate travel arrangements, meetings, calls, bookings, reporting, expense reports and follow-up correspondence;
  • Prepare catering, room bookings, audio/visual materials, seating arrangements, invitations for leadership meetings and group events in the office and at external venues;
  • Liaise between departments to successfully complete tasks and projects requested by the CEO & COO;
  • Draft presentations, business reports, spreadsheets, proposals, and other construction documents as required;
  • Attend, record action items and distribute minutes for important meetings;
  • Assist with personal requests and tasks as required.

You display a high standard of professionalism and pleasantry when communicating and interacting with all types of personalities inside and outside of the organization. You have the confidence to actively participate and add value in a meeting with senior leadership and can thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment, both independently and in a team.


Our Must Haves

  • At least three (3) years in an executive assistant / administration role - directly supporting senior level executives;
  • Diploma, certificate, or degree in Business, Construction, Real Estate, or a related field;
  • Excellent computer literacy skills in MS Office Suite, especially Excel;
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication (written/verbal) skills – with an ability to build relationships with all levels of the internal business but even more so, our clients;
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of discretion and confidentiality;
  • Strong work ethic –ability to self-manage, think critically, anticipate need, and prioritize workload independently.
